What boats are best for travel?

We’re incredibly lucky in Australia to have unlimited access to hidden bays, running rivers and pristine waterways so if you have the option to travel with a boat, our advice is to do it!

If you’re pulling a caravan and are wanting to add a boat to the mix, a light-weight aluminium tinny is the way to go as it can be carried on top of a camp trailer, caravan or your towing vehicle. It won’t be a big boat but better than no boat and if you tow a large caravan, it’s possible to improve your fuel economy by having a small boat on front as it helps to improve the aerodynamics.
